The short version: we collect the email address you give us and the information you choose to share with Libby. We do not sell your data. We use it to run Plate and to tell you when features launch.
Information we collect
- Email address — when you join our early access list.
- What you tell Libby — messages you send to our AI assistant, plus any preferences you set (such as which medication you take, your injection day, and your daily check-in answers).
- Basic technical data — standard server and analytics information such as browser type, approximate region, and pages visited, collected by our hosting provider.
Health-related information
Some of what you share with Plate may relate to your health, such as the medication you take or how your stomach feels. Please share only what you are comfortable sharing. Plate is a consumer wellness product and is not a HIPAA-covered entity; we are not your healthcare provider and this information is not part of a medical record.
How we use information
- To operate Plate and personalize the guidance Libby gives you.
- To email you about early access, launches, and product updates.
- To understand how the product is used so we can improve it.
How your messages are processed
Messages you send to Libby are transmitted to our AI provider (Anthropic) so a response can be generated, then returned to you. We do not sell your conversations, and we do not use them to build advertising profiles.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run Plate (for example, hosting and AI processing), and where required by law.
Storage on your device
Plate stores your medication, injection day, and daily check-in answer locally in your own browser so the app can greet you correctly. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message. You can ask us to delete your email address and any information associated with it by contacting us. You may have additional rights depending on where you live, including the right to access or delete your data.
Children
Plate is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we update this policy, we will change the date at the top of this page.
